Pokiri & Businessman Sequels; Mahesh Babu was busy

Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu joined hands with dynamic director Puri Jagannath and delivered two blockbusters 'Pokiri' and 'Businessman'. Touted to be the biggest blockbusters at the box office, the films became milestones in their careers.

Recently, while talking in a promotional interview for his upcoming movie, 'Liger,' Puri revealed exciting news about the sequel of these films.

Puri Jagannath initially thought of making sequels for both Pokiri and Businessman, but Mahesh Babu was busy.

"In 2010, I thought of making sequels for Pokiri and Businessman. There was so much scope for Businessman part 2 where we can dig more about Surya Bhai's character. But Mahesh Babu was busy with other films," said Puri Jagannath, revealing why the sequels never happened.

"Businessman is a dialogue-based film with so much scope to impress the audience in the North belt. I hope to rework that Idea and make Businessman in Hindi," added Puri.
