HYDERABAD: Star heroine Pooja Hegde has been going through a rough patch for the last few years. All her films, like Radhe Shyam, Beast, Acharya, and Cirkus, were bombed at the box office. She pinned heavy hopes on her latest film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan. Unfortunately, even this movie is heading towards the 'flop' result.
Starring Salman Khan in the lead role, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan was released on April 21st on the eve of Eid. Directed by Farhad Samji, it is an official remake of the 2014 Tamil film Veeram. Venkatesh, Bhumika, Jagapathi Babu and Shehnaz Gill played other key roles in it.
Right from teasers and songs, everything related to this film didn't give any hit vibes to the audience. As a result, there was no buzz around it. Still, it managed to grab some attention due to Salman's presence. However, even Salman couldn't save this badly-made movie.
Right from the first show, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan received a negative response and it may end up as one of the biggest flops of 2023. Thus, Pooja bagged fifth flop in a row and her wait for a hit continues.
Meanwhile, in between, she reportedly bagged a film in Hindi. According to the latest reports, Pooja Hegde might act alongside Shahid Kapoor. Roshan Andrews will direct the film. If this becomes a hit, Pooja might return to her golden phase again.
