Popular actress got married in June itself

HYDERABAD: Actress Poorna aka Shamna Kasim, shot to fame with films like Seema Tapakai, Avunu and Rajugari Gadhi. Of late, she is regularly seen as a judge in television reality show judge. She has also played supporting roles in movies like Drushyam 2 and Akhanda.

Earlier this year, Shamna got engaged to a Dubai-based businessman named Asif Ali. She stated that they were seeing each other for some time and finally, decided to take the relationship to the next level.

However, there was no news about their marriage after the engagement. Thus, it was speculated that her engagement was called off. Later, Poorna confirmed that her engagement is not called off.

As of now, they are staying together in Dubai. Meanwhile, Poorna has now dropped breaking news. Recently, she said that she got engaged to Asif Ali on May 31 and they also got married on June 12. She stated that it was a private event with minimal attendance.

She said that a few members couldn't attend her wedding due to country issues. For them, the couple will host a reception ceremony in Kerala soon. Poorna also stated that she is going to start a dance school in Dubai soon. Apparently, it was her long-lasting dream.
