Prakash Raj to come up with Manalo Okkadu

Prakash Raj is not only a versatile actor but a talented director as well. Earlier, he wielded the mega hat for films like Dhoni, Ulavacharu Biriyani and Mana Oori Ramayanam. He was supposed to direct his upcoming film Rangamarthanda as well. However, he later gave that responsibility to Krishna Vamsi.

Meanwhile, he announced his new directorial venture in a recent interview. He stated that he will be soon directing a movie titled Manalo Okkadu. Apparently, the film is adapted from a Marathi theatre play. It is heard that Prakash Raj has been working on this script for more than a year.

According to the sources, the film is going to be a political satire which is set in the modern era. We will get to know more details about this project in the coming days.

As of now, Prakash Raj is awaiting the release of Rangamarthanda. It is an official remake of the Marathi film Natsamrat. Ramya Krishna, Shivatmika Rajashekhar, Rahul Sipligunj, Brahmanandam, Anasuya and Ali Reza play the other important roles in the film. Ilaiyaraja is composing the music for it.
