HYDERABAD: Icon star Prabhas' upcoming film, "Project K," has been titled "Kalki 2898 AD." The first glimpse of the film has been released and it is captivating in every frame. Although there is a negative response for the first look, the glimpse managed to catch the positive attention.
The film is set in the present Kaliyuga, a time when the world is believed to be ruled by injustice and the loss of dharma. In Hindu mythology, Kalki is the final avatar of Lord Vishnu, who is prophesized to appear at the end of Kaliyuga to vanquish evil.
The glimpse of "Kalki 2898 AD" transports the audience to a future world where darkness prevails. Prabhas is portrayed as the force that will rise to bring an end to this darkness. He looks striking in the sci-fi thriller, set in the year 2898 AD. The glimpse also features Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone.
While the roles of Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani are not revealed in the first glimpse, the final frame hints at a confrontation between Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan, judging by their costumes.
With the teaser and trailer yet to be unveiled, fans are eager to see more of what "Kalki 2898 AD" has to offer.
