Puri Jagannath opens up about Chiranjeevi's Auto Jaani

HYDERABAD: Director Puri Jagannath played a key role in Megastar Chiranjeevi's recent film Godfather. Both of them celebrated the film's success by participating in a video chat. Their interaction is now out on social media. Chiru and Puri discussed various topics like Acharya, Liger and their shelved project Auto Jaani during this conversation.

When Chiru was planning to make his comeback into films in 2015-16, Puri narrated to him a script titled Auto Jaani. But Chiru didn't accept it as he was not convinced with the second half. During this conversation, Chiru asked Puri about the status of Auto Jaani. Puri said that he shelved that script and is planning to come up with a better one very soon.

When asked about how he took Liger's failure, Puri said that the healing period should not be more than a month. He said that after knowing Liger's result, he did 100 squats at the gym. He said that he enjoyed working on the film and added that he can't cry about its failure for the next three years. He said that he is in Mumbai right now, working on his next script.

Chiru also said that he went on vacation after his film's (Acharya) failure and came back home with positive energy. After listening to these interactions, fans are now hoping for a film in Chiru and Puri's combination. We have to see if it becomes true in the coming days.
