HYDERABAD: Since the announcement of the 95th Oscar Awards, the eyes of all cinema fell on the nominations. If we talk about India, then the Gujarati film Chhello Show has been nominated by India for the biggest award in the Entertainment World. Also, the excitement for the biggest film awards is epic this year as Rajamouli's RRR is also part of it.
Finally, the nominations are unveiled via live streaming on the Oscars website as well as social media. India has a decent stake in this year’s Academy Awards and got three nominations including:
Naatu Naatu for Best Original Song.
All That Breathes for Best Documentary Feature Film and
The Elephant Whisperers for Best Documentary Short.
Also, the RRR makers had submitted the film in multiple categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor.
Meanwhile, RRR is set to create a big achievement at the Japanese box office. Already, RRR became the highest-grossing Indian film in Japan by surpassing the 24-year record of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Muthu. Now, we hear that the film will surpass the magical one billion mark in a few days.
Currently, the film has collected around 950 million Japanese Yen. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film is produced by DVV Danayya under the DVV Entertainments banner.
