'Ranjithame' - Telugu version is already trending within hours of release

HYDERABAD: 'Thalapathy' Vijay collaborated with Telugu makers, 'Dil' Raju & Vamsi Paidipalli for his next 'Varisu', which shall be dubbed into Telugu as 'Vaarasudu'. The film soundtracks are written & conducted by Thaman. The film already registered a chartbuster song 'Ranjithame', which stands at 75 Million views within 3 weeks of its release.
The work for the Telugu version began around a week ago. Reputed lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry has taken to his Twitter and announced that 'Vaarasudu' shall be his next fully credited album and shared a pic of him working on the sets of the film in Chennai and wrote 'Varisu telugu is my next full album and i give my 200 percent…wait for the album'. It looks like he lived up to his word, the Telugu version of 'Ranjithame' had hit the right chords in Telugu too. The song joined the trending list within an hour of its release. One wouldn't expect this as the Tamizh version is already a chartbuster.
The film is currently being shot in Chennai EVP shoot location and it is reported that 80% of the shoot is completed and post-production has already begun. The film is slated to release on Sankranthi 2023.
