Yesterday was a sad day for Tollywood as the news regarding the demise of 'Rebel Star' Krishnam Raju has shackled all the industry. Although he has been subjected to various health issues for a couple of years, he has pulled himself out of them successfully all the time, but this time he couldn't.
While the whole industry visited and paid their condolences to him at his house, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, fired on the stalwarts of Tollywood in the night on his Twitter.
RGV went on to say "Legendary actor Krishnam Raju, who did iconic movies such as Bhakta Kannappa, Katakataala Rudrayya, Bobbili Brahmanna, Thandra Paparayudu has gone to rest and the industry which runs around the comfort of big producers can't even mourn his death. It is a shame on all of us. This is inevitable for all of you too. The only way we can respect our death is by respecting this legend's death. Please stop shooting for a couple of days to commemorate the passing away of Krishnam Raju"
On the other hand, Krishnam Raju's final rites will be performed today afternoon at his farm house in Hyderabad.
