HYDERABAD: The entire Telugu diaspora is eagerly waiting for the Oscars ceremony, which will be held in less than 24 hours. They all are rooting for SS Rajamouli's RRR to win an Academy Award. It has to be noted that the film's song Naatu Naatu has been nominated in the Best Original Song category.
RRR's journey is no less than incredible since its release. It was released on March 25, 2022. Right from the first day, the film got a unanimous positive response from the audience. Lead actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan were praised for their spectacular performances. Rajamouli was appreciated for his exemplary vision.
In June, the film premiered in the OTT arena. That's when it got an international reach. Many Hollywood writers, actors and directors watched the film and heaped praises on it. Within no time, the film became a sensation in the USA.
It was screened at various film festivals and was nominated for prestigious awards as well. Naatu Naatu won the Best Original Song at the Golden Globes and Rajamouli won the Best Director Award at the New York Film Critics Circle awards ceremony.
