Saakini Daakini: Entertaining and thrilling journey of female cop trainees

Actresses Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas teamed up together for the action comedy Saakini Daakini. Directed by Sudheer Varma, this film is an official remake of the 2017 Korean release Midnight Runners. The theatrical trailer of the movie was unveiled recently.

Going by it, the film looks like an absolute fun ride filled with thrilling elements. Regina and Nivetha play the roles of police trainees who share a cat and mouse relationship with each other. They try to pull each other's legs whenever they get a chance.

One day, they happen to witness a crime and start investigating it. How these police trainees managed to crack the case forms the crux of the movie. The trailer is packed with fun elements and thrilling moments. It will intrigue the audience and may pull them to the theatres.

Regina and Nivetha also shared cool chemistry with each other. Saakini Daakini features Bhanu Chander, Prithviraj, Kabir Duhan Singh and Chammak Chandra in the other key roles. It is slated for a worldwide release on September 16. Suresh Productions, Guru Films and Kross Pictures are jointly bankrolling the project.
