Samantha breaks silence on '250 crores' alimony rumours

HYDERABAD: Ever since it was revealed that Samantha would be participating in Koffee With Karan, viewers and media were excited. This was her Koffee debut, and everyone expected the host Karan Johar to make Sam speak about her personal life. As expected, Karan asked her about the divorce with Naga Chaitanya.

Responding to the same, Samantha said she had hard feelings for Chay and stated that the situation was not amicable. She further added, "if you put us both in a room, you have to hide sharp objects."

Meanwhile, Karan also asked her whether she took alimony of Rs.250 crores during the divorce. Samantha said that there were many rumors of her taking alimony from Chaitanya's family and denied them as fake news. She went on to say that she wondered whether Income Tax officials would conduct a raid after hearing those rumors.

Samantha attended the show along with Akshay Kumar. The B-Town buzz reveals that the duo is teaming up for a new movie soon, which will be bankrolled by Karan Johar. Apart from that, Samantha has Shaakuntalam, Yashoda, and Kushi in her lineup.
