Samantha diagnosed with Myositis; Breaks silence on health condition
The actress shared a picture of herself dubbing for her upcoming film right from the dubbing studio
HYDERABAD : Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is not very active on social media these days. The fans are worried about her health amidst multiple speculations doing rounds on social media about the same. Samantha also indirectly hinted that she is not keeping well, and today, she broke her silence. Taking to her Instagram profile, Samantha broke the silence about her health condition.
The actress shared a picture of herself dubbing for her upcoming film right from the dubbing studio. She mentioned that she was diagnosed with a rare auto-immune condition called Myositis.
Myositis is the name for a group of rare conditions. Myositis means inflammation of the muscles that you use to move your body. An injury, infection, or autoimmune disease can cause it. There is no cure for any of the forms of myositis. The actress is already undergoing a treatment for the same.
Samantha opened up on the process of recovery in her Instagram post.
"I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don't always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon," she shared.
On the work front, Samantha's next film is Yashoda, scheduled for a grand release on November 11th. She will also be seen in Gunasekhar's Shakuntalam.
