Sardar becomes a blockbuster; Sequel gets confirmed

HYDERABAD: Hero Karthi scored another blockbuster this year with his latest release Sardar. This spy thriller features Karthi in a dual role. He impressed everyone in the roles of a cop and a spy. Directed by PS Mithran, Sardar features Raashi Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan as the female leads.

Towards the end of Sardar, we get a glimpse of its sequel. With this scene, the makers have confirmed that there will be Sardar 2 for sure. As Sardar is a hit, we can definitely expect a sequel. More details about the film will be announced in the coming days.

It looks like PS Mithran is planning to create a spy universe with this Sardar universe. Even the audience is quite pumped about this sequel.

Apart from Sardar 2, Karthi will have two other sequel releases in the future. They are Ponniyin Selvan 2 and Kaithi 2.

Ponniyin Selvan 2 will hit the screens in the summer of 2023. Kaithi 2 will hit the floors in mid-2023. On the whole, Karthi is the only Tamil hero to have three different sequels in his kitty right now.
