HYDERABAD: In the wake of getting multiple death threats, the security of popular Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan is being increased. As per the reports, Salman now gets Y+ security, while Akshay will be given X-category security by the Mumbai Police.
This means Akshay will have at least three security officers protecting him all the time. On the flip side, Salman will be protected by these officers as well as commandos. Apart from Akshay and Salman, actor Anupam Kher will also get X-category security.
These actors will take care of the financial expenses of the security personnel. This move has been taken as these actors have been facing multiple death threats in the recent past.
Just a couple of months ago, it was reported that Salman received a death threat from Bishnoi, who was one other prime accused in the murder case of singer Siddhu Moosewala.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar was last seen in the film Ram Setu. Meanwhile, Salman is currently working on films Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan and Tiger 3.
