Senior Actor - Director, 'Gangleader' fame, Vallabhaneni Janardhan is no more

HYDERABAD: Vallabhaneni Janardhan, who is famous for his roles in blockbuster movies like 'Gangleader', 'Stuartpuram Dongalu' has passed away today at the age of 63. He was being treated in Apollo citing illness for some time and today around 10:20 AM, the sad news was declared to everyone. He was survived by a wife and a couple of kids.

Janardhan is known for his fondness for films. It is said that he never rejected any role that was offered to him by anyone in the industry. It is noted that he acted in more than a hundred films but they were all trivial roles. Along with acting, he also produced various telefilms and feature films. He was married to Lalini, sister of infamous filmmaker Vijaya Baapineedi and has two children. He lost his first daughter Shwetha in her early childhood, while another daughter Abhinaya is a fashion designer and his son Avinash is a software engineer working in the U.S.A.

Janardhan also shared the screen with the principal stars of his time. He did 'Gangleader', Stuartpuram Dongalu' with Chiranjeevi, 'Lakshmi Narasimha' with Balakrishna, 'Vaarasudu' with Nagarjuna and 'Surya I.P.S.' with Venkatesh. He was active on television too and is known for being part of the famous soap opera 'Anveshita'
