Shakuntalam Release: What's Happening

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the star actors in South Cinema. She is currently pursuing an active career in Bollywood. After starring in 'The Family Man' season 2, the actress is working on a Bollywood film currently. Back in Telugu, she is awaiting the release of two films. One of them is Gunasekhar's Shakuntalam.

Shakuntalam is a mythological drama film written and directed by Gunasekhar. Based on the popular play Shakuntala by Kalidasa, the film features Samantha in the titular role. The film's shoot was completed long back and the post-production works also reached the final stages.

Meanwhile, there are speculations that the film's release is getting delayed because of a multiple reasons. The speculations are bringing a negative buzz to the movie.

However, the film's producer Neelima Gunaa has responded to these speculations and confirmed that the film is releasing soon.

"The challenging CG complexities are being dealt with good precision as we prepare to give you a good quality output," revealed the makers.

The film unit is busy with the post-production at a brisk pace. More details of the film will be out soon.
