Shankar to shoot Indian 2 and RC 15 simultaneously

After getting halted for more than two years, director Shankar's Indian 2 was re-launched the other day. Kamal Haasan plays the lead role in this much-anticipated sequel. Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth and Rakul Preet play the other pivotal roles in it. The regular shoot was resumed as well.

After the resumption of Indian 2, everyone wondered if Shankar's other ongoing project, RC 15, will be postponed. But the director clarified that he will be shooting both Indian 2 and RC 15 simultaneously. "Hi Everyone, Indian 2 and #RC15 will be shot simultaneously. Ready to shoot the next schedule of #RC15 from the first week of September in Hyderabad and Vizag! @DilRajuOfficial @AlwaysRamCharan @SVC_official" tweeted Shankar.

RC 15 features Ram Charan in the lead role. Kiara Advani is the leading lady in it. Dil Raju is bankrolling the project. The film got done with almost half of its shoot. It is slated for a summer 2023 release.

On the whole, it looks like Shankar will be super busy for the next few months with the works of both these films. On the flip side, fans are happy that they can witness two Shankar films in a single year.
