On Thursday, The High Court of Telangana rejected the plea of actress Sai Pallavi on the issue of her controversial religious remarks.
A few weeks ago, a case was filed on Sai Pallavi by Bajrangdal leaders complaining that she made offensive comments against the movie The Kashmir Files and the issue of cow vigilantism.
The police filed a case against her on June 21. Later, Sai Pallavi approached the High Court to cancel those notices. However, the court rejected her petition and dismissed her plea.
During the promotions of Virata Parvam, Sai Pallavi commented on The Kashmir Files and cow vigilantism. She stated that The Kashmir Files showed how brutally the Kashmiri Pandits were assassinated during the Kashmir Exodus. She also pointed out the incident where a Muslim driver transporting cows got beaten up severely. She stated that there is no difference between the incidents.
These comments didn't go well with many people. They alleged that Sai Pallavi had hurt their religious sentiments. The actress clarified her statements by posting another video but still, it was of no use.
