Siddhu Jonnalagadda started off his career as a supporting actor and has now become one of the bankable lead actors in the Telugu film industry. Last year's super hit DJ Tillu was his biggest success and also made him a popular figure among people.
After the phenomenal success of DJ Tillu, Siddhu is now coming up with its sequel, Tillu Square. Directed by Mallik Ram, this film features Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead. Though she was announced as the lead actress, it was later reported that she walked out of the film. Then, it was stated that the likes of Sree Leela and Madonna Sebastian are being considered for the role.
Finally, Anupama came on board and started shooting for the film. Responding to the allegations about Anupama's walkout in a recent interview, Siddhu said that she never walked out of the film and she was the makers' first choice for this role right from the beginning.
When asked about the reason behind not selecting the first part's director Vimal Krishna for Tillu Square, Siddhu said that there are no differences between them and added that Vimal is still one of his close friends.
