Sreenu Vaitla teams up with Gopichand

HYDERABAD: Sreenu Vaitla is one of the popular directors in the Telugu film industry. In his illustrious two-decade-old career, Sree Vaitla made many hit films like Venky, Anandam, Dhee, Ready, King, Dookudu and Baadshah. He has been going through a rough patch for the last few years. He is now aiming to come back hard with his next film.

On the occasion of Vijaya Dasami, Sree Vaitla announced his next project. This untitled film will feature Gopichand as the lead hero. Noted writer Gopi Mohan is associated with Vaitla in the script works of the movie.

Announcing the project, Sreenu Vaitla tweeted, "On this Auspicious Day, I am extremely happy to announce my next.. with @YoursGopichand!! Also, I am very happy to be associated with my long-time friend and writer @Gopimohan... Other details will be announced soon... Thank you all for your love and need your blessings."

In fact, Sreenu Vaitla was supposed to Dhee's sequel D & D with Manchu Vishnu. It looks like the project is kept on hold as of now. More details about his new project with Gopichand are expected to be announced soon.
