HYDERABAD: The Kollywood film industry is shocked to learn about the untimely demise of a stunt master S Suresh on the film's sets. S Suresh, who is working for Vetrimaran's upcoming film Viduthalai passed away after an accident on the film's sets. The accident took place on Saturday morning, and the news has been confirmed by South Indian Cine and TV Stunt Artistes Union.
The team was shooting the film in Chennai's Kelambakkam. The stunt sequence was being shot at the Unamancheri village near Vandalur. The team actually took a lot of precautionary measures, but despite that, Suresh met with an accident. Suresh was 54 years old, and he is survived by his wife and daughter.
Thavasi Raj, the president of the South Indian Cine and TV Stunt Artistes Union, revealed that the accident took place while Suresh was demonstrating a jumping stunt. Thavasi Raj called the accident unfortunate and revealed that the team followed all safety precautions at the location.
Soon after the accident, Suresh was rushed to a nearby hospital, but he passed away.
