Sunil to make his Tamil debut with Karthi's Japan

HYDERABAD: With the current success streak, one might go on public and say actor Karthi might be one of the top actors in the market. Both his films, 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' and 'Sardar' have turned out to be blockbusters not only critically but also commercially. Karthi holds most of the & also new records for this year!
As we reported earlier, Karthi will team up with the acclaimed director Raju Murugan for a new movie. The announcement of the film & the pooja ceremony took place today.
Tiled 'Japan', the film is produced by SR Prabhu under his maiden banner Dream Warrior Pictures. Actress Anu Emmanuel shall be essaying the female lead while famous director Vijay Milton is making his acting debut. Another coincidence is 'Japan' will be the 25th film for Karthi, while Telugu hero, actor, and comedian Sunil shall be making his Tamizh debut with this film. While G.V. Prakash composes the music, Ravi Varman shall be handling the cinematography work.
Taking to Twitter, the production house unveiled pictures from the pooja ceremony and wrote, "Delighted to announce that @Karthi_Offl starrer #Japan pooja happened today, need all your love".
