HYDERABAD: The first glimpse of Superstar Rajinikanth's look in his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth's upcoming film Lal Salaam has been unveiled. The makers took to Twitter on Monday to announce his role as MoideenBhai and shared a picture of the actor's new look.
In the first look, we can see Rajinikanth walking in front of the India Gate in Mumbai with violence taking place in the background. The poster hints that the film is getting vocal about the communal conflicts.
Starring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles, Lal Salaam features music composed by AR Rahman, editing by Pravin Baaskar and cinematography by Vishnu Rangasamy. The film is expected to release in theaters later this year.
Aishwarya Rajinikanth, who is a successful filmmaker in Tamil cinema, has directed hit films such as 3 and Vai Raja Vai. Earlier this year, she announced her debut as a director in Bollywood with the film Oh Saathi Chal.
In the meantime, Rajinikanth is working on Jailer, directed by Nelson. There are big hopes on this father-daughter collaboration and the complete details of the film will be out soon.
