Talk of the Town: Kamal Haasan gives a green signal to be a part of Prabhas' Project K

HYDERABAD: Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is all set to share screen space with pan-Indian star Prabhas in the upcoming sci-fi action film, Project K. According to the latest reports, the National award-winning actor has been roped in to play the lead antagonist in the film and has enthusiastically accepted the big offer after being impressed by the film's theme and his character.

As per the updates, Kamal Haasan is planning to begin shooting for his portions in Project K soon after wrapping up his ongoing commitments. If everything goes as planned, he is expected to join the sets of this Nag Ashwin directorial by the beginning of August 2023.

Although details about the plot and characters of Project K have been kept under wraps, it is rumored that Kamal Haasan will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in this futuristic sci-fi action film. This exciting development has left both his fans and cine-goers thrilled.

Project K, which has been in production for some time, marks the Telugu cinema debut of Bollywood star Deepika Padukone. The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including the legendary Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and actress Disha Patani.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film will be released in two parts, with the first installment scheduled to hit theaters on January 12, 2024, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Sankranthi.
