HYDERABAD: Director Sampath Nandi, who wrote "Odela Railway Station," is coming up with its sequel, "Odela 2." Tamannaah Bhatia plays the protagonist in the movie, directed by Ashok Teja, under the banners of Madhu Creations and Sampath Nandi Teamworks. This is the first time that Tamannaah has done a role like this.
The makers unveiled the movie's first look on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. We see Tamannaah in the Shiva Shakthi Avatar, portraying a challenging role for the first time. She looks aptly suited for the character, with a complete transformation evident in her dress, walking style, and body language.
In the first look, Tamannaah is seen wearing a saffron dress, holding a holy stick, and playing Damaru in the other hand. With closed eyes, she walks on the steps near Kashi Ghat, taking the audience on a divine trip.
Hebah Patel and Vasishta N Simha, who were part of the prequel, will be seen in the sequel as well. Soundar Rajan and Ajaneesh Lokanath handle the camera and music departments.
"Odela 2" is set to have a theatrical release in multiple languages.
