Telangana High Court Adjourns Further Investigation on RGV's 'Vyuham'
Telangana High Court's Monday hearing on 'Vyuham' film led to the decision for additional investigation, set to continue on Tuesday.
HYDERABAD: A hearing took place on Monday in the Telangana High Court regarding the film 'Vyuham.' The court announced that further investigation into the matter will be taken up on Tuesday.
During the hearing, the Censor Board submitted records, including the Censor Certificate, for the film 'Vyuham.' The court stated that a thorough inquiry would be conducted after reviewing the records provided by the Censor Board. The High Court is scheduled to resume hearings to consider arguments related to the film.
In a parallel development, a petition was filed, alleging that certain scenes in the film were intended to insult Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu, TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh, and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan.
Consequently, the High Court had earlier issued an order to halt the release of 'Vyuham' until January. The film unit subsequently filed an appeal in the Division Bench to challenge these orders.
Actor Ajmal who shot to fame with the film, Rangam, is playing YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's character on the screen in Vyuham. The film unit is confident of bringing the movie to theatres at any cost. Further developments are awaited.
