Telugu Producers on a protest at Film Chamber

Telugu Film Producers Council is a union for film producers in the Telugu states. The council acts as a voice of producers and is the single point of contact for any issues related to the producers. Now, the producers are staging a protest at Film Chamber demanding the election.

The producers are objecting to not holding the council elections even after the deadline. C Kalyan is the President of the Producers Council and T Prasanna Kumar is the secretary. Their term has come to an end but the council is yet to initiate a new election for the next term. This has angered several producers and they have demanded the council to call for an election immediately.

K Ashok Kumar and YVS Chowdary are the vice-presidents. Mohan Vadlapatla is also a secretary of the council. As of now, the council is yet to give an official statement on the election.
