After the disastrous result of Acharya, Megastar Chiranjeevi is aiming to bounce back hard with his next outing, Godfather. Directed by Mohana Raja, this action drama is set for a worldwide release on October 5. Recently, the makers released the first track 'Thaar Maar Thakkar Maar' from the movie.

Initially, it was supposed to be out on Youtube. But due to technical issues, the makers released the song on Spotify and the Youtube lyrical video will be out soon. The track is composed by Thaman and the lyrics are penned by Anantha Sriram. Shreya Ghoshal lent her vocals for it.

The music sounds very familiar to Thaman's earlier mass numbers. Even the lyrics are not so impressive. But the hook line 'Thaar Maar Thakkar Maar' may become a hit among the audience. Shreya's voice is highly unrecognisable in the song. On the whole, Thaar Maar Thakkar Maar sounds like a typical mass beat with no uniqueness. The presence of Chiru and Salman Khan should make this song a hit now.

Godfather features Nayanthara, Satyadev, Sunil and Samuthirakani in the other important roles. Konidela Production Company and Mega Super Good Films are jointly bankrolling the project.
