Thaman reveals a major update about Chiru's Godfather

Music director Thaman is currently busy with a series of projects in hand right now. One of them is Megastar Chiranjeevi's Godfather. This is the first film in the combination of Chiru and Thaman. The latter is pretty excited about the project.

Meanwhile, Thaman has spilled some beans about the story of this film. Speaking in a recent interview, Thaman stated that Nayanthara would be seen as Chiranjeevi's sister in the movie. He also added that he composed a soothing melody track that is about the bonding between a brother and sister.

This is the second film in the combination of Nayan and Chiru after the 2019 release of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Godfather is being directed by Mohana Raja. Satya Dev and Salman Khan play other important roles in the movie. The shoot is currently in the penultimate stages, and the makers are planning to release it during Dasara festive season this year.

Godfather is being bankrolled by Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films. It is an official remake of the 2019 Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer. The original version featured Mohanlal in the lead role. It was directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran.
