'The Kerala Story' - With the reach, comes the Ban!

HYDERABAD: Earlier there was a video of a woman wearing a burka, where she starts speaking about herself while taking off the hijab. She finds herself in tears while speaking about the conversion & woman trafficking taking place in Kerala. This turned out to be a teaser of the film 'The Kerala Story'.

The teaser was released a week ago. It stars Adah Sharma as the woman who speaks about the horrific tragedy she was subjected to, along with other 32000 women. She plays the role of Shalini Unnikrishnan who reaches Kerala as a nurse and is now converted to Muslim as Fatima Ba, an ISIS Terrorist in Afghanistan Jail, claiming to speak on the behalf of 32000 girls buried in Syria & Yemen, which actually is operated at Kerala.

Upon its release, there wasn't much recognition of it, but the political parties owned & promoted the film, which turned the teaser into political propaganda.

The Kerala police immediately took action while the political polarization was about to take over and booked a case. Kerala DGP directs Trivandrum Police Commissioner to register an FIR case against the movie on the basis of a complaint letter received in the CM's office.
