HYDERABAD: Tamil web series, 'The Village,' is scheduled for a worldwide premiere on November 24, 2023. This series marks the web series debut for Tamil star Arya. 'The Village' is a supernatural thriller set in a remote village in Tamil Nadu. The makers launched the trailer of the series which is getting a lot of attention from everyone.
The trailer provides a glimpse into the series' plot, with a couple and their young daughter embarking on a road trip, only to find themselves stranded in the wilderness when their car breaks down. Mysterious and supernatural occurrences unfold around them, suggesting the involvement of otherworldly creatures from the village.
Starring Arya, Divya Pillai, Aazhiya, Aadukalam Naren, George Maryan, Pooja Ramachandran, Muthukumar K., Kalairaani SS, John Kokken, V Jayaprakash, Arjun Chidambaram, and Thalaivasal Vijay in key roles, 'The Village' is adapted from the graphic novel of the same name.
Directed by Milind Rau and produced by BS Radhakrishnan under Studio Shakthi Productions, 'The Village' is set to premiere on Prime Video on November 24, 2023.
