This Rajinikanth film looked better than Prabhas' Adipurush
The ever-evolving technology enables us to explore newer horizons in every industry
HYDERABAD: The ever-evolving technology enables us to explore newer horizons in every industry. Even in films, we see directors expanding their vision and coming up with visual spectacles. But one needs to handle technology well otherwise the craft may get spoiled. Adipurush is an example of it.
Adipurush was announced in 2020. The makers said that it will be a live-action 3D film which will be made using motion-capture technology. Avatar is one of the well-known films which used motion-capture technology.
Adipurush makers tried to do the same but the plan misfired completely. In some scenes, actors look real and in others, they look artificial. It felt that CG bodies are attached to their faces, which resulted in improper coordination between the body and the face.
A few years ago, Soundarya Rajinikanth made Kochadaiyaan with Superstar Rajinikanth. It was entirely made in motion-capture technology. Audiences felt that Adipurush makers should have entirely opted for that technology like Kochadaiiyaan. They felt that Kochadaiiyaan, which was made on a very less budget, looked far better than Adipurush. On the whole, they are extremely disappointed with this half-baked effort in Adipurush.
