Time for Chiranjeevi to change his route

Megastar Chiranjeevi is a trendsetter in Telugu cinema. He is an inspiration for each and every young hero who is working in the industry right now. He is the indisputable Mega Star of the industry. But it is time for him to change his route now.

After his comeback in films, Chiru came up with three films until now Khaidi No: 150, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, and Acharya. None of these films brought back the vintage Chiru on the big screen. Especially, Acharya's result should be an eye-opener for him.

The audiences and their mindsets changed. They will not accept Chiru if he still does roles that are way younger than his real age. They are not going to make his films hit if he still romances young heroines on the big screen.

It is time for Chiru to change his route and accept roles that suit his age. Chiru's upcoming films include Godfather, Bholaa Shankar and Mega 154. The first two are remake films. Godfather's role suits Chiru's age but the role in Bholaa Shankar doesn't. Thus, there are more expectations on the former.

Mega 154 is a straight Telugu film and fans are hoping that director Bobby wrote a character that suits the image and age of Chiru. Fans are hoping for Chiru to experiment and do more films like Rudhraveena, Abhilasha, Chantabbai and Apadhbhandavudu. If he can do those films when he was in his prime, he can definitely do them now as well.

All he needs to do is to get out of his comfort zone and start accepting versatile subjects from talented directors. If he does that, Chiru can regain his numero uno position and set an example once again for all the young actors.
