Tollywood comedian Raghubabu involved in road accident; one died

NALGONDA: In a tragic incident on the Addaki-Narkatpally road in Nalgonda district, comedian Raghubabu's car collided with a two-wheeler, resulting in the unfortunate demise of the rider, Sandineni Janardhan Rao, who was 55 years old. Janardhan Rao, a prominent figure as the general secretary of BRS Nalgonda town and a real estate businessman, was crossing the road near the leprosy colony on Wednesday evening when the accident occurred.

Reports indicate that Janardhan Rao was on his way to conduct business transactions on his bike when Raghubabu's BMW car, traveling from Hyderabad towards Miryalaguda, collided with him. The impact of the collision caused Janardhan Rao to be thrown into the air, landing on the car's bonnet before falling onto the side divider.

Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident. Upon arrival at the scene, Two town SI Nagaraju promptly shifted Janardhan Rao's body to the Nalgonda Government Hospital Mortuary.

Meanwhile, Raghubabu's son, who was trailing behind in a Range Rover, also stopped at the accident site. The police detained Raghubabu in the Range Rover and brought him to the station, where he remains in custody.

Following a complaint filed by Nagamani, the wife of Janardhan Rao, the police have registered a case against Raghubabu under Section 304/A, as the investigation into the tragic incident continues.
