Recently a list was released showing the top searched actress on Google, and, as any, South women made a major chunk in it too

HYDERABAD: This year has been remarkable for South India, especially Telugu & Kannada. Although Tamil & Malayalam cinema had a good reach, Telugu with 'RRR', 'Pushpa', & 'Akhanda', and Kannada with 'K.G.F. Chapter 2' and 'Kantara' has shaken the country like anything else.
Along with the male leads, the female stars too have nailed their reach across the country with their performances. Needless to say, Rashmika Mandanna became National Crush with Pushpa, and so is Samantha with Yashoda. She surprised everyone with her performance in the action thriller. Recently a list was released showing the top searched actress on Google, and, as any, South women made a major chunk in it too.
But Kajal Agarwal made it to the top with her news about pregnancy, and criticism about her looks to post her pregnancy, while Tammannah trended on top too because of her marriage rumours and her counters to kill the fake ones.
Along with them are Samantha and Rashmika. While Samantha trended for obvious marriage rumours & link ups, she also came out with her condition during the making of Yashoda. And then Rashmika for her 'Kantara' controversy. Regardless of all these, they stood out for their performances.
