Tollywood: New releases struggles at Box Office!
The romantic family drama Krishna Vrinda Vihari but the film failed to meet the expectations of the audiences.
After Bimbisara and Sita Ramam, no Telugu film has achieved a hit status again at the box office. All the films that were released in the recent past failed to live up to the expectations. The last Friday, two films were released amidst expectations but both of them disappointed movie lovers.
Naga Shaurya has come up with the romantic family drama Krishna Vrinda Vihari but the film failed to meet the expectations of the audiences. A new heroine made her debut with the film, and Anish Krishna directed the film.
On the other hand, Sree Vishnu came up with an experiment again. His film Alluri was released on Friday and it also opened to a negative response. The intense action drama could not satisfy the interests of fans and audiences.
However, Chenna Keshava Reddy's re-release attracted decent crowds at theatres. At the same time, Brahmasthra managed to perform well at the theatres. Oke Oka Jeevitham, starring Sharwanand is also performing to the expectations.
Another film Dongallunnaru Jagratha released along with Alluri and Krishna Vrinda Vihari also ended as a flop.
Now, Tollywood is looking at biggies Godfather and The Ghost which will release next month.
