HYDERABAD: "Salaar," a high-budget movie featuring the young rebel star Prabhas in collaboration with director Prashanth Neel, has garnered immense anticipation from fans.
Prashant Neel's direction, coupled with Prabhas's performance, has been hailed as a visual treat for fans eagerly awaiting the film. However, the joyous celebrations surrounding the release took a tragic turn when a fan involved in the movie's release activities met with a fatal accident.
The incident occurred during the erection of a Flexi (flexible banner) promoting the movie at Ranga theater in Dharmavaram town of Srisatyasai district. A 29-year-old Prabhas fan named Balaraju was setting up the Flexi at the theatre when the iron frame of the banner came into contact with electric wires, resulting in a fatal electrocution. Balaraju tragically lost his life on the spot.
The news of Balaraju's untimely death has cast a pall of sadness not only over his family but also among fellow Prabhas fans who were eagerly looking forward to enjoying the film. The family and relatives of Balaraju are expressing their grief and anger, alleging that the accident occurred due to the low height of the electric wires.
