Transformation: Ram Pothineni is back into the shoes of iSmart Shankar

HYDERABAD: Actor Ram Pothineni and sensational director Puri Jagannadh are reuniting for the Double iSmart film. The film was officially launched yesterday. Serving as a sequel to their blockbuster hit iSmart Shankar, the film is set to commence shooting tomorrow. So, Ram has undergone a trendy makeover, bringing back his Banger avatar. A video of the same has been released by the film unit today.

For his role in iSmart Shankar, Ram sported an ultra-modern look with a short and spiked mohawk hairstyle. He has also trimmed his beard, adding an extra touch of fashion-forward style. However, what has caught our attention is the special mark on the back of his head.

It hints at the symbol of a chip implanted in his character's brain. Produced by Puri and Charmme under the banner of Puri Connects, Double iSmart is set to be a grand production with a high budget.

Puri Jagannadh has crafted a mass-appealing script that aims to meet the high expectations set by the original film's success. The team will soon announce the remaining cast and crew.
