Trending: Varisu similar to Maharshi

HYDERABAD: Director Vamshi Paidipally who scored his career's biggest blockbuster Maharshi with Superstar Mahesh Babu. The film has become a very big hit. The director planned to do another film with Mahesh Babu but the reports say that the project has been called off. Vamshi Paidipally later convinced Thalapathy Vijay for an exciting film titled Varisu. It is a Tamil film which is getting dubbed to Telugu as Varasudu.

Team Varisu released some still from the film which are currently going viral on social media. Going by these pictures, many netizens are drawing some comparisons that Varisu is more or less similar to that of Maharshi.

Thalapathy Vijay's look from the film, along with his costume looks extremely similar to that of Maharshi. The plot also reportedly have similarities with the French film Largo Winch which needs no introduction. Telugu films Agnyathavaasi and Largo Winch are already the freemakes of Largo Winch.

Not just the hero's look, but the looks of the supporting cast also gives us the feels of Maharshi. We have to see if the makers will make a comment on these similarities.
