HYDERABAD: Upasana Kamineni Konidela recently took part in a book launch event in Chennai. She was a part of the launch of the book 'The Apollo Story - The Amara Chitra Katha' (Comics) during the 91st birthday celebrations of her grandfather, Dr. Pratap C. Reddy. Upasana shared her views about bringing her grandfather's life to the silver screen during the event.
While delivering a speech at the event, she addressed the possibility of creating a movie based on the biography of the founder of Apollo Hospitals. She mentioned they would consider such a project if they find a suitable director.
Speaking to reporters during the event, Upasana thanked actor Rana Daggubati for his significant contribution to the book's creation. The book aims to inform the youth about healthcare. Upasana highlighted that her grandfather, Dr. Pratap C. Reddy, was her inspiration and mentor.
The event was attended by Dr. Pratap C. Reddy, his daughters Sangeeta Reddy, Shobhana Kamineni, Sunitha Reddy, and others.
