Urvashi Rautela in Kantara prequel - A mere speculation
Urvashi Rautela being cast in the upcoming film "Kantara 2" have been dismissed as false and untrue by a close source to the production
HYDERABAD: The recent reports about Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela being cast in the upcoming film "Kantara 2" have been dismissed as false and untrue by a close source to the production. Urvashi had previously shared a picture with Rishab Shetty, the director and lead actor of the film, on her social media platform, which sparked rumors about her being part of the film.
However, the source has clarified that the rumors are baseless and false, and that Urvashi's meeting with Rishab was just a casual one. The source stated that Urvashi had simply requested to meet Rishab, who obliged politely, and the picture taken with him was posted on social media with a cryptic caption, leading to false speculations.
The first installment of "Kantara" stars Rishab as a Kambala champion who finds himself in conflict with an upright forest officer named Murali, played by Kishore. The film is set in the coastal town of Keradi in Karnataka and has been well-received by audiences.
On the other hand, the resounding success of Kantara helped Rishab Shetty gain a recognition in the North and the prequel will definitely have a grand release all over the country.
