HYDERABAD: Back in 2021, Megastar Chiranjeevi announced a film with young director Venky Kudumula. He was just two films old by that time. But both movies were big hits at the box office. They were Chalo and Bheeshma. There were many expectations built around Chiru-Venky's project.
However, there was no update about it since the announcement. Later, it was reported that the film was shelved. But neither Chiru nor Venky responded to the rumours.
Recently, Venky announced a new film with Nithiin and Rashmika. Three of them are reuniting after the 2020 blockbuster Bheeshma.
In a recent interview with The Times of India, Venky was asked about his film with Chiru. Answering the same, he said that he wasn't satisfied with the second half of the script. He told the same to Chiru and requested to give him some more time. Chiru was kind enough and didn't pressurise Venky.
He said that he will work on Chiru's script once he gets done with the ongoing project with Nithiin and Rashmika. The shoot of this film will begin very soon. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the project.
