Virata Parvam is based on the story of a Naxalite named Sarala. The success meet of the film was held the other day in Hyderabad. Along with the team members of the movie, Sarala's family members have also attended the press meet.
Speaking at the meet, Sarala's brother Mohan Rao said that he didn't expect a big production house like Suresh Productions would make a film on his sister's life. "It has been 30 years since the incident took place. When director Venu Udugula approached me, I was skeptical about how he would show my sister's life on the screen. But we were convinced by the story. We are also happy that Rana and Sai Pallavi played the lead roles in the movie."
"Venu worked for more than four years on this story. He haas more knowledge about the incident than us. After watching the film, I understood that my sister loved revolution. Though Rana acted beautifully in the role, we hate Shankaranna in real life. Venu showcased the love story beautifully," he further added.
