HYDERABAD: Currently, RRR's trio SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ram Charan are in Japan to promote the film ahead of its Japanese release. RRR is having its Japanese release today. For the last couple of days, the three stars of the film were promoting the movie on various Japanese media platforms.
We all know RRR has become a global phenomenon in the last few months. One of the things that are being loved by western audiences is the dance sequences of this movie. During one of the interviews with the Japanese media, NTR was asked about the importance of dance sequences in the movie.
Speaking about the same, NTR said, "India is culturally very strong and got old historical evidence that we celebrate happiness, sadness, and victory with a dance. So, dance has always been a part of our country, India. Not only India but everybody here agrees with me when I say that if we have an expression to convey, the easiest thing is to dance."
"If you are happy, you wanna dance. If you are sad, you wanna dance. If you are angry, you wanna dance. So, dance has been a very very important part of Indian culture. We have 29 states in India. Each state has got its own dance form. We have more than 20 dance forms in the country. So, imagine how dance is so important for communication. India is very strong in its cultural heritage and we have a lot of dramas and stage plays. A lot of dramas are conveyed through dance. That's why dance is very important for India," he further added.
