HYDERABAD: Megastar Chiranjeevi is creating a rampage at the box office with his new film Waltair Veerayya. Since the day of its release, this action entertainer is minting huge money in theatres. Not only in the domestic market but the movie is having a sensational run in overseas too.
Within six days of its release, Waltair Veerayya crossed the two million mark in the USA. It is Chiranjeevi's third film to join the two-million-dollar club, after Khaidi No: 150 and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. It is expected that Waltair Veerayya will cross the $2.5 million mark by the end of its final run. The breakeven mark for this movie was $1.6 million and it crossed that milestone a couple of days ago.
With this feat, Waltair Veerayya also became the first film in 2023 to collect $2 million dollars in the USA. Once again, this film proved that Chiru is the undisputed king of Telugu cinema. His fans are rejoicing watching him in an out-and-out mass avatar after decades.
Directed by Bobby Kolli, Waltair Veerayya features Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan and Prakash Raj in the key roles. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music for it.
