HYDERABAD: Actor Sai Dharam Tej was last seen in the movie Republic. After a long gap, he is getting ready with his new movie Virupaksha. The title glimpse of this film was released just about a while ago. Jr NTR lent his voice for the teaser.
Sharing the glimpse teaser, Sai Dharam Tej tweeted, "Here's #Virupaksha Title Glimpse we have put in much love & efforts. Wish it all pays off with your love. Thank you Tarak @tarak9999."
Going by the teaser, Virupaksha looks like an intriguing thriller that deals with a few supernatural elements. How Sai Dharam Tej becomes a saviour of a village might be the main crux of the movie. The glimpse didn't reveal anything about the plot but managed to grab our attention. Tarak's voiceover added depth to the proceedings.
Virupaksha is currently in the shooting stages. Samyuktha Menon plays the female lead in it. Debutant Karthik Dandu is directing the project. Sukumar penned the screenplay for it. Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings are jointly bankrolling the project. Virupaksha is slated for a worldwide release in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil on April 21, 2023.
