Weekend Watch: New Releases on OTT

Vijay Deverakonda's Liger is the only prominent release which is hitting the theatres this week. But, there is an array of films and series that are getting released on the OTT platforms in the next few days. Here is a look at them.

1. Top Gun Maverick

Starring Tom Cruise in the lead role, this film is a sequel to the 1986 release Top Gun. It was released in May and went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters of this year. It premieres on Amazon Prime Video on August 24.

2. Delhi Crime Season 2

Shefali Shah's super hit web series Delhi Crime is coming with its second season. It will premiere on Netflix on August 26.

3. Maharani Season 2

Starring Huma Qureshi in the lead role, Maharani is one of the successful series made by Sony LIV. The second season of this series will be premiered on August 25.

4. She-Hulk

Marvel Studios' brand new series She-Hulk will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on August 25.

5. Cuttputlli

Cuttputlli is an official remake of the Tamil film Ratsasan. Starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role, it will have a direct digital release on Disney+ Hotstar on September 2.
