Who Will Play The Female Lead in VD12?

HYDERABAD: Recently, acclaimed producer Naga Vamsi disclosed that either Rukmini Vasanth or Tripti Dimri, known for her role in the movie "Animal," are the top contenders to play the female lead in #VD12, Vijay Devarakonda's upcoming film directed by Gautham Tinnanuri. However, the project has faced delays, and initially, Sreeleela was cast as the leading lady.

However, a new rumor has surfaced suggesting that the makers are facing challenges with Tripti Dimri, who has demanded a significant fee and is unavailable on the planned dates.

Additionally, Rukmini Vasanth is committed to another project for Sithara Entertainment, leading to scheduling conflicts. Amidst this situation, Sreeleela, the original choice for the film, has reportedly expressed willingness to return to the project and is even prepared to work for the previously agreed-upon remuneration, which is considerably lower than her current asking price.

Reports indicate that if Tripti Dimri's availability becomes an issue, the production team might revert to Sreeleela as the female lead.

Meanwhile, discussions about the film's budget are ongoing, with plans for regular shooting to commence from the first week of April.
