HYDERABAD: Director Mahi V Raghav has repeatedly reiterated that Yatra 2 will primarily focus on YS Jagan's Padayatra. This is evident from both the teaser and the trailer of the film. Raghav emphasized that in Yatra 2, the Padayatra is the central theme, with other characters playing minimal roles, and their portrayal is not intended to demean anyone.
Speaking alongside actors Jeeva and Ketaki during a media interaction, Mahi Raghav emphasized the film's focus on portraying emotions and the essence of the journey.
Addressing concerns about political themes inviting controversy, Raghav clarified that the scenes depicted in Yatra 2 are not fictional but are based on real emotions and experiences. He explained the significance of scenes featuring a deaf girl at the beginning and a blind person at the end of the trailer, noting that they symbolize the empathy and compassion exhibited by YSR through his welfare initiatives and assistance to those in need.
As the film gears up for a grand release tomorrow, there is huge buzz surrounding it. The team scheduled the premieres in the USA already and are hoping to register a good opening. Nirvana Cinemas releases the film and they planned a very good release across the country.
For Premier shows, a huge number of tickets are already sold out. More than 10,000 tickets are sold and the premieres already generated a good revenue. As of now, it grossed over USD 100,000.
The team is kicked to know the response from the audiences after the premieres. Similarly, the film is getting a good release in the Telugu states as well.
